Online Training Course

New training instructions and educational materials being developed by nano@stanford are available on Stanford’s online edX-based platform. NanoFab01 serves as an online course and resource which contains materials to prepare researchers to become effective lab members of the nano@stanford’s facilities, as well as to be useful to anyone wanting to learn about nanofabrication and nanocharacterization tools. Prior to getting in-lab and hands-on training on particular pieces of equipment or processes in these facilities, lab members need to go through the appropriate sections and subsections of this course. Please keep in mind that this is an ongoing course as we add more tool and processing sections, utilizing information from our current sites as well as creating new material.

New content will also be added and/or modified as we change tools and procedures in our ever-evolving facilities. Anyone can view these materials, either as part of a class somewhere or just on their own.

To access the course, do the following:

  1. Click EdX Course nano@stanford.
  2. Sign in or Register using the appropriate button on the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Select the nano@Stanford course (ENGRX0001)
