  Sub-micron metal patterning on polymer substrates using nitride nanostencil

  The optical properties (reflection, absorption, diffraction) of a plasmonic device are highly sensitive to the gap material and size. As a result, a simple replacement of dielectric layer to a polymer film would transform a passive device into an active device that can be used in beam steering and biomedical sensing.
